Call for Artists /Vendors Call Released: June 5th
Deadline: Monday, June 19th, 2017, by 12:00 pm (noon).
Eligibility: This RFP is open to all professional artists, artisans, or teams (hereinafter, referred to as “artists”).
Artists from the Grove Hall area are encouraged to apply.
Project Description: This is a call for Artists/vendors to present their craft at the vacant lot located in the
Greater Grove Hall Neighborhood. Grove Hall in Color was created by a volunteer-based community group,
“Friends of the Ave” who have come together to program the vacant City-owned lot- 48 Geneva Ave. This
location will become a community park in the future. The Grove Hall in Color Art Market was created to allow
local artists and small businesses to have a safe platform to sell their items while giving local residents access
to goods, they may not see on a day-to- day basis. All proceeds from booth rentals will go directly to the
activities programmed in this lot, benefiting the community.
Project details: The first Art Market will take place on Thursday, June 29th, 2-7:30 pm at 48 Geneva Ave. In the
chance of rain, the event will be rescheduled to that Friday, June 30 th. For a general space, the charge is $10 *
Table rentals - $15 * Table w/ Tent Rental - $25 * only 6 tents available, first come first serve. All proceeds from
booth rentals will go directly to the activities programmed in this lot, directly benefiting the community.
