We are excited to announce the 2017 Call for Entries for the fifth Design Biennial Boston, a program that showcases emerging practices in New England. Up to four winners will receive a budget of $10,000 to produce a site-specific public installation on Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway this summer. They will also have access to the Autodesk BUILD Space to work with advanced fabrication equipment. This year’s jury includes Dina Deitsch (Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts), Shauna Gillies-Smith (Ground), Mark Lamster (Dallas Morning News/Loeb Fellow), Keith Krumwiede (NJIT), and representatives from the sponsoring organizations.
Applications are by portfolio and are due on January 25, 2017. For more information, visit designbiennialboston.com.
