Description:

The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy commissioned a one-of-a-kind Carousel, uniquely Boston. The Carousel is located on The Tiffany & Co. Foundation Grove on Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway across from Christopher Columbus Park and Faneuil Hall Marketplace in the Wharf District.

Inspired by the imaginations and drawings of Boston public school children, Newburyport Massachusetts based sculptor Jeff Briggs created life-like characters that include 14 different animals native to the land, sea, and air of Massachusetts. Carousel characters include: Lobster, Sea Turtle, Cod, Peregrine Falcon, Grass hopper, Harbor Seal, Fox, Skunk, Whale, Squirrel, Rabbit, Butterfly, Barn Owl, and Sea Serpent.

$3 per ride; discounted ticket books available; tickets available for purchase on-site.

The carousel will operate daily beginning August 31st through Halloween weather permitting.  It will operate on weekends in November and December, including New Year's Eve.
