Art today is more dynamic than ever. New techniques and ideas in multimedia art such as, interactive sculpture, video work, installations, animation, and projections are at the cutting edge of contemporary art. The NEW MEDIA exhibition will use the interior of Boston City Hall as a showcase for a new generation of art and artists in Boston.

Seeking Boston-based artists and artist groups/organizations to exhibit in Scollay Square Gallery and the Mayor’s Gallery. The Scollay Square Gallery and the Mayor’s Gallery are public spaces within Boston City Hall. There is no deadline.

Seeking Boston-based artist groups/organizations to exhibit in the hallways and public space within Boston City Hall. There is no deadline.

Selection process

The group or  organization members must reside in Boston.

Please submit the following:

- 10 -20 jpegs of representative work to be shown

The Mayor’s Office of Arts, Tourism & Special Events is currently seeking Boston photographers. Through the eyes of our fellow Bostonians we are hoping to capture the essence and spirit of our fair city. We are asking photographers to submit 3 jpegs representative of their work. From those submissions we will pick photographers to go out and take photos on Patriot’s Day.

Call for entries for FIGMENT Boston, which will take place on the Greenway in June.  Submission deadline April 15.
