Description:
Surrounding Ramler Park, this fence features a pattern of fifteen swallows in flight, which is repeated in each section of the fence. The artist, John Tagiuri, cut the bird silhouettes from sheet steel. The park’s logo, a roundel adapted from the fence’s birds, appears on the monument commemorating the Ramler family’s gift of land for the park. Ramler Park, designed by Elena Saporta, was dedicated in 2004.
