Description:
The Family Circle, celebrating family life, shows a mother and father embracing to protect their small child. Evoking the image of a globe on a pedestal, the bronze sculpture shows the family as a protective world of its own. The sculpture is the work of Boston artist Fern Cunningham, and was installed in 1996.
