This tablet, fabricated by the Gorham Manufacturing Company, commemorates Father Peter Ronan, a Roman Catholic priest who served the Dorchester community and is the namesake of Ronan Park. He lived from 1842 - 1917and was invaluble to the growth of St. Peter's parish and the construction of St. Paul's mission church. The tablet was dedicated on Dorchester Day, June 2, 1917.
